At the heart of the Illumination Speaker Cable is our patented Vortex Magnetic Waveguide Technology—a breakthrough in audio signal transmission. Unlike conventional cable designs, this proprietary system uses magnetic conduction to guide the signal with extraordinary precision and purity, resulting in a level of musical accuracy that is simply unmatched by traditional high-end audio cables.
Inside the waveguide, a patented vibration-eliminating gel works to reduce unwanted noise and distortion. Infused with proprietary materials, this gel enhances the transfer of the magnetically based signal while maintaining exceptional clarity. An internal Faraday cage further refines performance by controlling magnetic forces and keeping them precisely aligned with the conductor.
The Vortex Magnetic Waveguide chassis is constructed using industry-leading additive manufacturing, allowing for a highly controlled and optimized internal structure. In the Illumination Series, this design is light and compact—allowing the cable to hang freely behind your equipment without the need for bulky supports often required by heavier cables.
Design & Technical Details
The Illumination Speaker Cable is meticulously engineered using premium materials and advanced construction techniques to ensure uncompromising performance. At its core is a silver-plated copper conductor, chosen for its superior conductivity and ability to preserve fine musical detail. This is paired with PTFE (Teflon) dielectrics to minimize signal loss and maintain purity, while cryogenic treatment further enhances conductivity and structural integrity at the molecular level.
A unique construction method combines the inner and outer conductors to effectively increase overall gauge while lowering resistance, allowing for improved current delivery and dynamic performance. Each cable is terminated with gold-plated copper connectors for optimal signal transfer and long-term reliability, with connection points that are both crimped and soldered to ensure a secure and stable interface.
For maximum system compatibility, connectors are available in spade, banana, or custom terminations upon request. The cable also includes an integrated cable stand to properly support the waveguide structure, preserving performance by minimizing contact with external surfaces.
To further elevate both form and function, we utilize industry-leading additive manufacturing techniques to produce precision-engineered cable housings. Additionally, all cables across our three series feature built-in cable risers/supports, ensuring consistent geometry and optimal signal transmission throughout your system.
