Audiophiles have long craved true reference grade products in the cabling industry at a modest price. An audiophile at heart himself with music as the major part of his life, inventor Rick Schultz repeatedly heard this call, however delivering on this isn’t easy.

In the midst of the Covid years things crumbled for Rick. The idea of building a large company that would “Herald” the big-name brands died. Not because of the quality of products and not because of innovation, however, trying to become too big and focusing on the bottom dollar for investors became unrealistic in building value-based products.

At a point where all that Rick seemed to have left was the music, Rick, himself desired in just hearing the music... something to soothe the soul.

It became time to look at this journey from the ground floor up. There was time to explore so everything was revamped and with this Rick Schultz Audio or RSA was born.

The first cable that RSA developed was Illumination

Illumination is named after the epiphany that came to Rick after hearing this cable It really does illuminate everything. All that you’ve been missing can be had in this simple cost-effective product. We believe there’s nothing that you can buy at any price that could possibly compare. After the creation of our Illumination series, the next goal was to be set. What could we do beyond? What has been done previously in audio conductors, not just any audio conductors we’re talking the best made. Something that would not only be surpassing the best in the industry, but setting a new benchmark. While pushing forward trying to achieve more, even a more powerful magnetic based conduction system was employed. Offering approximately double or more of what the illumination series employed in the magnetic wave guide technology. It’s not just about the amount of magnetic power, but it’s about how it’s used, how it’s focused, about how it guides the electromagnetic signal and mostly how much distortion it removes. The goal was not to build a better audio cable that’s a byproduct. It was to build a better audio cable for us. Well, we have done that.

So, what is an Apparition.

Apparition: Something you believe, imagine, or dream you see.

There is one thing that happens when something that you haven’t heard before appears before you. It might not be visual, but that’s not the point. It’s still something you couldn’t perceive and then all of a sudden you do. It’s just there. Apparition like Illumination got its name after the product was developed and this name came out of the listening experience. Apparition brings a new texture, and as the name states; a ghostly like experience. Things that you just simply conceived before are now offered up out of your music.

It’s all about the sounds, the way that they’re placed, the separation between individual sounds and the total landscape in frequencies from top to bottom. To have true to life sounding instruments in an audio system is difficult, but many claim to have it. Yet I believe that we set the bar a little low when making such claims. In fact, in these cases often what you need is an Apparition. It’s not just a play on words. It’s a true story of flashing out things in ways that you just didn’t think possible.
